As is known, stone mastic asphalt (SMA) with a stabilizing additive provides high resistance to shear, waterproofing, and optimal surface roughness of the pavement.

These properties are achieved by the increased content of crushed stone and bitumen in the mix, as well as the addition of a stabilizing fibrous additive based on mineral fiber. The unique properties of mineral fiber, through stabilization and dispersed reinforcement, help retain a large amount of free bitumen on the crushed stone surface.

EcoTop is an innovative development based on natural mineral fiber. It has the lowest consumption rate among existing stabilizing additives—up to 2.5 kg per ton of mix. Mixing time is just 33 seconds. The service life of the pavement in extreme climatic conditions is at least 30 years.
